Datsun is a marque of the DAT Motorcar Company. It was created in 1931 to introduce a new smaller model of the original DAT car. In 1933 the Nissan Motor Company took over Datsun. The most fomous Datsun models are the Fairlady Roadster and the Fairlady Coupe. Nissan used the Datsun name for all cars they produced up in to the 1960's. In 2001 Nissan brought back the Datsun model a D22 pick up truck.
